Who we are
Lar de Artemis is a young and vibrant organization, founded in November 2022 in the beautiful city of Lugo (Spain) by a diverse group of friends with a shared passion for education.
Our aim is to provide the youth and youth workers with non-formal educational opportunities and creating a safe space for the personal growth and development of the next generations. We believe that they hold the key to building a better future, and we are committed to helping them achieve their full potential.
At Lar de Artemis we trust in the power of love, community, team work, diversity and creativity to achieve our goals, and yours too!

What We Do
European projects
We develop projects aimed at youth education and supporting youth workers through the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program.

From workshops to recreational events, we are committed to support our community by developing and conducting local actions.

SELF-LOVE
We believe that in order to be able to evolve as social beings we need first to develop ourselves as individuals, learning how to deal with life challenges, building resilience and engaging in behaviors of self-respect.
We want to show recognition for the people we work with and contribute to their sense of self appreciation, so they feel valued and encouraged.
COMMUNITY
We aim to be part of the community and grow together as one. We rely on mutual support and participation to empower people, help them achieve their goals, improve their well-being and create equal life opportunities.
TEAMWORK
We firmly believe that any goal can be better achieved through cooperation rather than relying on the combination of individual efforts. This synergistic mindset is reflected in our openness to new ideas and collaboration spirit.
DIVERSITY
We understand, appreciate and embrace each other’s differences. Our founding members, five people from five different countries, are living proof of that. But we don’t want to stop there.
Everyone is welcome into our projects, regardless of their background, nationality, gender or ethnicity. Diversity of perspectives and ideas is a key factor in global actions. If we aim to improve our society, we must start by listening and learning from all its members.
SUSTAINABILITY
Without consciousness, there is no action. We take a stand on raising the awareness level about environmental issues, promoting ecological practices and proactively looking for sustainable ways of working. Earth is our home, and we must take care of it.
CREATIVITY
The human mind, freed from its constraints, has the potential to generate creative solutions to virtually any problem it is presented with.
We aim to create safe spaces where thoughts can flow and flourish, bringing innovative ideas that have a positive impact in the community.
RESPONSIBILITY
We consider responsibility one of the core values of individuals and societies all over the world. Being accountable for our own acts and how they affect ourselves and the people around us, is the foundation stone for self-improvement.
As the famous song goes: “If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change”. This is not an easy process: it involves trust, integrity, self-criticism and humility, but it is paramount to evolve as human beings and as a society.
